Position Summary
The Deal Desk Analyst role is a great fit for someone who wants to join a fast-growing technology company and play a key part of accelerating top-line growth. The Deal Desk Analyst will report into finance, will interact across the board with our customer facing sales and customer success teams, deal desk and legal on new and existing customer contracts. This position will have excellent exposure to leaders in the company around the critical area of top-line revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Review and approve non-standard customer contract terms and conditions with new and existing customers;
Collaborate with customer facing teams, deal desk and legal on structuring customer contracts;
Support contract negotiations representing the finance org;
Lead a new project to provide alternative financing options with a 3rd party;
Help train and educate customer facing teams on finance specific processes and areas of focus;
Find creative ways to improve billing terms and other financial impacting commercial terms;
Analyze new and existing contracts with customers and lead initiatives to improve and maximize financial impacts to the business;
Interact with customers to clarify contracts and business matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, accounting, or finance;
Minimum of 2 years’ experience actively negotiating contracts;
Experience working in SaaS B2B is preferred;
Customer service-oriented style;
Strong attention to detail;
Ability to multi-task and prioritize requests coming from different directions;
Efficient and effective written and oral communication skills.
