Domo is looking for aspiring DevOps Engineers to help build and automate all facets of our system infrastructure, enabling the entire Engineering Organization to iterate and innovate in the fast-paced Business Analytics space. As a member of our DevOps team, you’ll work in our all-cloud environment; a rapidly evolving and expanding system architecture utilizing Big-Data across highly distributed data collection and messaging tiers. You’ll collaborate with all members of the engineering team, from product inception, through the development lifecycle, and on to supporting a global, 24/7 highly available production operation.
Maintain Domo’s various hosting platforms by providing on-call monitoring, application of software updates/patches, implementing new technologies, and assisting cross-functional teams;
Help implement world-class techniques to ensure infrastructure uptime, platform resiliency, and quality updates;
Develop code to support systems automation and integration with 3rd party services;
Document standard operating procedures to be followed by other members of the team;
Automate build processes and optimize tooling to support continuous integration;
Demonstrate the ability to stick to process and procedure to help ensure appropriate controls are always met;
Work with the team to develop and deploy monitoring and alerting architecture, and implement monitoring/logging solutions.
Must be a Senior or MBA student majoring in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related degree;
Experience with UNIX/Linux system administration, Debian based system preferred;
Development experience in any language: Java, Python, or Ruby preferred;
Knowledge of Amazon Web Services management is a strongly preferred;
Experience with Continuous Integration tools (CI), Jenkins preferred;
Experience with distributed Source Code Management tools like git is preferred;
