Under supervision of the Sr. Technology Operations Manager, this position will work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of their processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. It is responsible for technology procurement and needed installation as well as associated technology invoice management. Assists with the development, testing and implementation of Technology initiatives.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field of study or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of work experience as a technical analyst, procurement/purchasing analyst or inventory control manager; preferably
    in an insurance or financial corporate environment.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating costs and contracts.
  • Experienced at compiling and following budgets.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10, Mac OS, Office 365, Active Directory, Printers, Scanners, M.D.M. and Mobile devices.
  • Experience leveraging technology to manage workflow, comfortable using data to diagnose and improve team performance.
  • Experience in building positive, strong relationships across other business units within a corporate environment.
  • Title Experience preferred, but not required.


  • Proficient knowledge of IT Service Management.
  • Proficient knowledge of Invoicing and accounting practices.
  • Working knowledge of best practices, capabilities and constraints related to delivering technical solutions.
  • General knowledge of software development practices, concepts, methodologies, tools and trends


  • Proficient partnering, negotiation and communication skills to facilitate interactions with business Customers and technology teams.
  • Sets and manages stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong technical skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.


  • Self-starter with excellent critical thinking, communication, problem-solving skills.
  • Able to handle multiple priorities/projects effectively while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • ITIL certification a plus.

  • Installation & configuration of computer hardware and applications.
  • Purchase supply of technology products/materials.
  • Prepare technology requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Record, process and manage technology invoices/financial transactions.
  • Track, receive and record orders and arrivals.
  • Monitor, maintain and reconcile inventory levels.
  • Monitor and reconcile technology accounts payables and receivables.
  • Monitor technology order expenses.
  • Source and interview technology vendors; negotiate technology contracts and costs.
  • Manage technology supply base.
  • Analyze market and delivery systems.
  • Communicate performances and costs to management.
  • Respond to user inquiries, assess problems and issues with IT equipment and applications, help with Troubleshooting, configuration and database administration.
  • Analyze business needs and objectives and proposes technical or operational solutions.
  • Utilizes analytical skills to spot key business insights, trends, and opportunities to recommend and manage system enhancements.
  • Collaborates with the different areas within IT to design the most effective and efficient solutions.
  • Carefully tracks issues and requests, large or small, monitoring progress, resolving issues and recommending actions.
  • Develop and facilitate application and/or technical training for internal users.
  • Provides end user support and serves as a technical resource for internal customers.
