What you'll do
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Patient Services domain and help us become the #1 digital and secure medical companion for patients.
More specifically, you’ll join the team responsible for maximizing the number of patients who benefit from our services, building on the platform's current reach of more than 80 million accounts. Providing the best in class user experience, quality, and security of the features.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality application that meets the needs of patients seeking healthcare services through the Doctolib platform in France, Germany, and Italy.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaboratively design, implement and maintain high quality solutions delivering value to our users.
- Implement best practices to maintain and improve high standards for engineering and operational excellence.
- Proactively monitor the system’s reliability within your team’s scope by defining SLIs and continuously enhancing alerts.
- Consistently collaborate with other teams, to effectively manage dependencies and mitigate uncertainties.
- Contribute to the modularization of the team’s domain enabling Doctolib to scale.
- Coach teammates to enhance their skills by offering thoughtful and constructive feedback during pair programming sessions.
Who you are

- Have 6+ years of web development experience within an engineering team;
- Have in-depth experience with our stack: we use Typescript (React and React Native), Ruby on Rails or Java (and we are happy to help you ramp up);
- Demonstrate proven experience in optimizing website performance, focusing on speed, efficiency;
- Have a solid grasp of SEO principles and the ability to implement strategies that enhance search engine ranking and user engagement;
- Have experience with integrating CRM solutions that support marketing automation to enhance user engagement and retention;
- You are product-oriented and comfortable guiding your teammates to suggest tradeoffs to balance business needs with technical constraints.
- You have experience in monitoring the health of the system you are building and actively contribute to its improvement.
- Are comfortable speaking English in your day by day with the team
