As a key player of an international team with 20 lawyers, you will work with Product Managers, designers and engineers to create engaging user experiences for our customers while assuring everything is legally compliant in Germany

Direct report to the Head of Product Compliance located in Paris, you will be the dedicated legal point of contact for all german Product Compliance related matters, such as product development.


Your mission

  • Help to create compelling risk-managed user experiences and play a strategic role in assuring that our products align with regulations applicable in Germany during the product development, launch and post launch phases.

  • Participate in the creation and constant compliance monitoring of Doctolib websites (B2B and B2C) and apps. 

  • Promote trust in our products by ensuring that the processing of personal data of practitioners and patients is compliant with all regulations and their rights are protected - Help in respecting and protecting rights to Doctolib great ideas (IP law)

  • Create clear agreements with our customers (both patients and practitioners) for their use of our products, websites, apps, or other technology .

  • Analyze, negotiate, draft and review supplier and partner contracts related to the Doctolib platform.

  • Create, maintain and animate a local network of law firms to assist you in your missions.

  • Monitor laws, regulations and case law regarding healthcare,  technology/digital/ e-commerce applicable in Germany and elaborate notes on the regulations /laws applicable to Doctolib in Germany.


Your skills

You could be our next team mate if you:

  • have a second state exam in law with a specialty in digital/new technologies.

  • have 4+ years of experience in the “Information and Communication Technologies” (ICT) sector. 

  • have an excellent understanding and experience of data protection (GDPR) legislation

  • have an excellent understanding and experience  of specific legal rules applicable in a digital environment 

  • are familiar with the contractual engineering (updating and creation of documentation applicable to patients and practitioners + website/apps documentation).

  • have knowledge of health law and are familiar with the German healthcare system.

  • are fluent in German and English 

  • like to work in a constantly evolving technological and regulatory landscape and you have a passion for addressing and solving legal product issues. 

  • are able to work independently but also to interact successfully with all levels of a company. 

  •  have a spirit of analysis and synthesis but also know how to be creative.

  • are ready to work in an innovative international startup and like working in a fast-paced environment.

Now, it would be fantastic if you:

  • Speak also French

  • Have experience in the e-health sector

  • Have experience in startups

  • Worked in international companies
