The role: Marketing Executives support marketing activities for exhibitions and/or special events e.g. awards, and conferences, and work under the supervision of the Marketing Managers and Exhibition Directors. 

This is a fixed-term contract for a six-month project and may be extended if required. Candidates should be present within the UAE with a valid residence visa.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the Marketing Manager for various marketing campaigns and activities during the show cycle.
  • Plan and execute creative multi-channel campaigns across various channels, including email marketing, social media, paid advertising and content marketing.
  • Assisting with the coordination, design and production of all marketing collateral, including brochures, visitor promotional collateral, print advertisements, web banners/emails etc.
  • Copywriting and proofing of all marketing materials in conjunction with the Marketing Manager.
  • Ensuring all event websites are fully up to date with the latest information as per the show cycle.
  • Ensuring brand consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Data research for various events under the portfolio.
  • Manage all sponsorship deliverables and coordinate with the relevant internal teams to make sure they are fulfilled as per the prescribed timelines.
  • Initiate conversations and secure media partnerships with relevant media publications and associations.
  • Manage the event social media calendar and liaise with the agency for content creation, creatives and schedule.
  • Liaising and assisting in the production of the event post-show reports.
  • Perform any other duties that are commensurate with the grade and areas of responsibility.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Educated with a university degree or equivalent
  • Minimum Experience: 2-3 years in marketing, but not strictly in event marketing.
