Role Summary: As a Delegate Sales Executive, your primary responsibility would be to secure senior-level delegates for our conference portfolios. You would work closely with summit producers, marketing and sales managers to understand the summit and target audience, building a compelling value proposition to drive paid delegates sales.

This is a fixed-term contract for a three-month project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of the product, brand and market and represent DMG Events through product knowledge and clear communication.
  • Proactively reach out to potential delegates through various channels, including email, phone calls, and social media, to promote event participation.
  • Provide timely information to and from customers/industry to help generate sales and action feedback.
  • Utilize persuasive sales techniques to convert leads into registered delegates and achieve revenue targets.
  • Maintain a minimum of 60 dials per day, and an updated database of leads, prospects, and sales activities for reporting and follow-up purposes.
  • Identify key industry sectors and potential delegate segments to focus sales efforts effectively.
  • Help gather feedback on competitor activities to fine-tune sales approaches and stay ahead in the market.
  • Understand client needs and preferences to exercise the ability to inform and sell across a portfolio of events.
  • Gather and share feedback with the marketing team to design and implement marketing campaigns to attract potential delegates.
  • Pipeline management to support accurate forecasting.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to registered delegates, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with other internal teams, including event operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure a seamless delegate experience.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience calling senior-level executives.
  • Basic knowledge of salesforce.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Quick learner with intellectual curiosity.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
