Overview
DLH is seeking a Project Manager to Support Principal Investigators with the day-to-day coordination of military medical research projects within the US Army’s Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC).
Up to 3 days onsite in Ft. Detrick, MD; other days can be remote.
Responsibilities
- Assist Research teams in planning and scheduling appropriate tasks.
- Develop and document the project/research plan.
- Manage project schedules and risks to meet firm timelines.
- Document and track schedule and deliverables and, in collaboration with the PI, make appropriate changes.
- Coordinate, facilitate, schedule, and prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and reports for project planning, project initiation, status reviews, and after-action meetings.
- Collect and file various documentation in online systems.
- Review research proposals and reports and provide feedback to supported government staff.
- Review research project documents in sufficient detail to become familiar with all aspects of the project, particularly those factors that affect a project’s cost, schedule, and performance.
- Assist the PI and Regulatory Compliance Officer with the development of the research protocols.
- Assist PI with ongoing monitoring of compliance with research protocols.
- Support development and writing of technical reports, research proposals, evaluation plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), quad charts, project schedules, and project performance metrics.
- Provide direction to other team members, including the review of work products.
- Conduct literature review in the current and future military medical domain.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2-3 years of technology innovation experience or Master's degree plus 1-2 years of technology innovation experience.
