Our client provides enterprise-class managed data center services, and they're looking for an experienced Scrum Master for their team. They have around 70 datacenters servicing 29 different markets, and we can't disclose their clients - but think about any major industry player from hyperscalers, banks, healthcare and social media platforms, and they're likely in their CRM. It's safe to say it's a very impactful project that you'll have the chance to work on.
They're looking for someone with amazing communication skills who can facilitate scrum between their European and US teams. You'd be leading one large team, as well as mentoring their Junior Scrum Master. This role reports to the Delivery Manager of their low-code software teams. You will leverage Scrum and Agile framework practices to ensure the continuous delivery of quality to their end users. You'll be expected to facilitate meetings and breakout sessions, seek to improve the scrum process, and have excellent project management and relationship-building skills to succeed.
The list of responsibilities includes:
- Plan, manage, and deliver sprint goals following agile scrum principles
- Mentor team members on best practices
- Manage risks, blockers, and tasks
- Facilitate and schedule scrum events and breakouts
- Provide reports on sprint cycle progress
- Work closely with the Product Owner to determine sprint priorities
What qualifications and skills are we looking for?
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, or equivalent experience in IT project management
- Scrum certification
- Fantastic communication and organization skills
- Experience with agile project management tools, such as Azure DevOps or JIRA
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
