Our client seeks an energetic IT Project Manager to take charge of diverse projects. This position is crucial in connecting their technical team with clients, ensuring seamless execution, and delivering top-notch IT services.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the entire IT project lifecycle, covering planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Act as the principal liaison for clients, comprehending their requirements and effectively communicating them to the technical team.
- Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, technology, and budget, to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
- Supervise the creation and upkeep of project documentation and plans, encompassing scope, schedule, cost, quality, communication, and risk management plans.
- Foster clear communication among project teams and stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of expectations, milestones, and deliverables.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential roadblocks or challenges in project progression.
- Monitor project performance, making necessary changes and adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Perform risk assessments and devise mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
- Cultivate a collaborative team environment by encouraging open communication and supporting team members.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, company policies, and legal regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management experience in an IT environment.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Profound understanding of IT project lifecycle and methodologies.
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within the established deadlines.
- Preferred certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
