About Disco
Disco is building a collaborative commerce platform that enables brands to partner effectively, acquire customers efficiently, and scale faster. We help premium DTC companies like The Honest Company, Rhone, Lovevery, Glamnetic, and Made In work together to accelerate growth in a cost-efficient manner, especially in light of regulatory and platform changes (e.g. cookie deprecation, iOS changes). Our ecosystem of independent ecommerce brands utilize Disco to #GrowTogether outside of traditional marketing channels (e.g. Facebook and Google), while also benefiting from unique insights and information content that Disco offers its brands.

What we are looking for
You'll be joining a diverse and distributed team in a remote-first company that emphasizes efficiency and collaboration. We expect you to be self-motivated, inquisitive, and passionate about building efficient scalable systems to support our rapidly expanding online shopping recommendation platform.
What you will do
- Work with Python, Node.js, Postgres, Redis, and AWS services such as EB, S3, and Kinesis
- Design and build features that support our rapidly growing base of 50M+ ecommerce shoppers and 900+ unique ecommerce brands
- Iterate and improve on our cloud infrastructure
- Design and build REST and GraphQL API's
- Act as a constant steward of software best practices at Disco
- Develop robust integrations with 3rd party vendors
What you have:
- BS in CS or related field
- 5+ years of development of complex software frameworks using object-oriented programming methodology (Python, Ruby, Java, C++/C#)
- 3+ deploying and supporting distributed applications on public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- 3+ building and maintaining scalable applications, infrastructure, and code
- Working knowledge of ETL principles
- Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle
