This is a great opportunity for aspiring Software Engineers that want to learn and develop new skills in a fast-paced startup environment. We are a collaborative and mission-driven team working on challenging problems that promise to radically change the future of healthcare. You will work with and be mentored by some of the leading experts in human-robot interaction. This project is a great opportunity to get exposed to a bunch of core competencies inside the domain of mobile robotics, and the product of the work is a tangible thing.

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Master's Degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant field to the role
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and drive to learn and adapt new technologies
- Curiosity, empathy and ability to get things done
- Ability to commit to a 12-week internship
Required Skills:
- Basic proficiency with C/C++
- Basic proficiency with Linux
- An introductory course to robotics (e.g. Stanford CS223A) or equivalent club experience
Nice to Have Skills:
- Hardware debugging experience
- Python experience
- Basic proficiency with controls theory
