Operations Manager
The Healthcare Robot Operations Manager is a key part of our management team and is responsible for overall productivity, process improvement, customer satisfaction, and safety measures. At Diligent, we owe our success in large part to the efficiency of our organizational processes. Do you enjoy leading large teams and mentoring employees to want to be their best? In this role you will be responsible for the effective and successful management of personnel including field services. This includes interviewing, selection and hiring, training new and existing employees, planning, assigning and directing work, providing performance appraisals, addressing employee performance and corrective action plans, and maintaining team motivation and culture. A supreme operations manager is responsible for processes being built and followed and ensuring teams are facilitated collaboratively to continuously improve these processes. This position will also oversee the health and maintenance of the robotics fleet in hospital environments and serve as a customer success role for external stakeholders. As an ideal candidate, you’ll have a sharp business mind and proven success managing teams toward maximum productivity. Additionally, you’ll display a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team.
This position will work on a hybrid (remote and in-person) schedule and can be based anywhere in the US with travel expectations.
What You’ll Be Doing/Responsibilities
- Acting as a liaison between our company and partner healthcare organizations, and serving as the primary point person on some service-lines
- Providing reports and updates on an as needed basis
- Creating and implementing KPIs that align with company objectives
- Overseeing robot operation policy and process improvement
- Overseeing a vast employee scheduling system
- Overseeing materials and inventory management; conducting budget reviews and reporting cost plans
- Working collaboratively with sales, product, engineering and project management departments for analysis and planning
- Developing, motivating, and mentoring staff through effective use of continuous feedback and open communication; ensuring that all are properly trained in their necessary duties; setting up and implementing career development plans
- Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, or related field
- 3+ years’ proven experience in an operations management position
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
- Strong leader who actively develops employees to their potential; experience successfully supervising and directing teams
- Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- Proven track record of solving ambiguous problems, building for the future, and seeing around corners
- Budget development and oversight skills

- Healthcare experience ( i.e. clinical operations, clinical research, clinical coordinator, healthcare project management)
