Your role:

Closely collaborate with a team of product designers, engineers, and cross-functional partners to push our Atlas design system forward while adhering to the highest standards.  This is an ideal role for a systems thinker who can help to expand our design system and guide product teams as they use it to create experiences that enable transparency and connectivity across organizations – sparking insights the most influential organizations need to make better decisions.

What you’ll be contributing

  • From discovery to delivery, you’ll steer the entire design process, utilizing your skills to design components, patterns, and guidelines that enable product teams to create consistent and high-quality user experiences
  • You’ll act as a subject matter expert and guide for product teams, providing them with tailored assistance as they work with the design system
  • You’ll be the voice of the user, advocating for and instilling the design system team with a user centric mindset.
  • You’ll collaborate freely, sharing your expertise and absorbing learning from others to help foster a culture of improvement and continuous learning.

This position will provide an opportunity to

  • Make a difference – Our products are in the hands of the most influential people in the world, and we believe that great governance tools help leaders to make sound decisions on behalf of their organizations.
  • Design for the user - Solving user problems is our focus and passion. We dive deep to understand what our customers need then apply those learnings to create experiences they love.
  • Have a voice – Bringing your ideas forward is not only encouraged, but also expected and we’ll empower you to always do that.
  • Be challenged – The problems we solve are complex and we embrace that with passion and creativity.

Who we’re looking for

  • You have 4+ years of product design experience with an accompanying portfolio
  • You have 1+ years designing and building durable design systems at scale within a large product organization
  • You have a well-rounded Product Design skill set (visual design, interaction design, research, etc.) with a drive to never stop learning and improving
  • You have a strong inclination towards systems thinking, understanding how everything fits together and how small and large changes affect our users, products, and teams.
  • You take ownership of your work – making decisions, defending them soundly, and holding yourself responsible for the outcomes they produce.
  • You have the flexibility to be a great collaborator and drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • You have excellent critical thinking and attention to detail when exploring solutions at a systematic level and a component level
  • You have the ability to create written systems guidelines that clearly articulate how components, styles, and patterns are applied in products.
  • You have the ability to appropriately communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a timely and effective manner
  • You have strong familiarity with Material Design Guidelines and Human Interface Guidelines (iOS)
  • You have significant design understanding in one or more of the following areas: accessibility standards and guidelines, visual language or tooling with emphasis on Figma, third party component libraries like MUI and Angular Material, Storybook, and CSS
  • You have an understanding of Web Accessibility Concepts (WCAG) and how it impacts the product and our users
  • You have expertise in Figma
