About the Mission-Driven Organizations (MDO) Business Unit

The Mission-Driven Organizations (MDO) Business Unit (BU) is a business unit within Diligent that provides and supports Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) solutions tailored for the needs of mission-focused organizations such as public sector (federal, state & local government, education), nonprofit/charity, community healthcare and community banking verticals in the North America, Europe/Middle East/Africa, Australia/New Zealand and Latin Americas markets. The MDO organization includes Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success departments, and works closely with the central marketing resource teams (Brand, Digital, Social, Content, Marketing Operations, and Events) to execute campaigns across defined geographies and sectors.

Position Overview

The Field & Content Marketing Intern (FCMI) is a self-motivated team member, responsible for supporting digital and field marketing campaigns within the Mission Driven Organization (MDO) Business Unit (BU).

The FCMI will work closely with the Senior Content Strategy Manager and the Manager, Field Marketing to support a variety of field marketing and content projects including website content production and optimization, social media planning and execution for LinkedIn and Facebook, and planning and supporting regional field marketing activities and regional events. At the end of the internship, the FCMI will present a summary report of website update procedures, as well as social media impact reporting for the period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website editing and content production using Wordpress, Sanity and other web tools
  • Understanding and documenting user experience through content journeys
  • Planning, documenting and supporting regional marketing campaigns via digital and events channels
  • B2B social media planning, support and execution within target markets

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communication or related field
  • Familiarity with web publishing and marketing operations systems including Salesforce, Highspot, Outreach, Marketo, Wordpress, Sanity & Wrike is beneficial but not required
  • Ability to work both independently, seek guidance as needed, and work within a global team across timezones
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong planning, organization and project management skills
  • Other traits: Curious, critical-thinker, detail-oriented, positive, adaptable, growth mindset, with a strong work ethic and committed to delivering a quality end result
  • Able to commute to our Galway office location
