Position Overview
Diligent is looking for a Senior Product Designer to assist with visual design work for our fast-paced UX Services team. Existing within the broader UX department, UX Services oversees a range of projects providing the organization flexibility to explore future vision product work and support work that doesn’t align to product team roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with UX Services Lead and/or project owner in ensuring work meets all requirements and adheres to internal quality standards.
- Collaborate with your UX Services Lead, project owner, and/or stakeholders to define an experience strategy for all projects.
- Ownership of the complete design process, from concept development to visual design to developer handoff.
- Close collaboration with other designers, Product Manager, Engineering, and stakeholders including executives.
- Succinct communication of design to stakeholders demonstrating a strong understanding of business objectives, design and your users.
- Execution of research (discovery, exploratory and validation) as needed.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Required Experience/Skills:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- A varied UX skill profile with an emphasis on visual design
- Ability to juggle multiple projects, changing priorities, and tight deadlines
- Portfolio demonstrating design of products, supported by a rigorous process
- Degree in design, technology or psychology (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience designing SaaS products for the B2B market in a distributed Agile environment
- Experience designing products with a high-level of complexity, helping to guide them from inception (or redesign) to release to continued enhancement or sunset
- Proficiency with current design tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience designing mobile and web-based applications
- Candidates with html/css experience are strongly preferred
- Candidates with Illustration or Iconography experience are strongly preferred
