Position Overview

As the Senior Product Designer at Diligent, you’ll be part of our Developer Experience team. The team is working on establishing a community of delighted developers and partners that build modern GRC solutions on the Diligent platform and educate, support and advocate for our developer users.
You closely collaborate with a cross-functional team of Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to bring Diligent’s vision of modern governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) to customers. The experiences you create will enable transparency and connectivity across organizations – sparking insights into the most influential organizations need to make better decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • From discovery to delivery, you’ll steer the entire design process, utilizing your design skills to create experiences that solve user problems.
  • You are managing complex initiatives and solving problems autonomously. In addition to execution, you are a major contributor to team roadmap.
  • You’ll be the voice of the user, advocating for and instilling the product team with a user centric mindset.
  • You’ll collaborate freely, sharing your expertise and absorbing learning from others to help foster a culture of improvement and continuous learning.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 5-7 years-experience in product design with an accompanying portfolio - online or pdf is required for consideration.
  • High level interaction and visual design skills
  • Experience with UX methods like wireframing, prototyping, journey mapping, usability testing etc.
  • Expert user of Figma
  • Design system experience
  • Understanding of Web Accessibility Concepts (WCAG) and how it impacts the product and our users.
  • Fluent English verbal and written communication
  • The ability to appropriately communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
  • You take ownership of your work – making decisions, defending them soundly, and holding yourself responsible for the outcomes they produce.
  • The flexibility to be a great collaborator and drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
