Objective of the Role
Responsible for leading the analysis, documentation, and design of technology solutions that translate business requirements into clear technical and functional specifications. This role takes a proactive approach to identifying process improvements, optimizing existing products, and designing new solutions that align with the organization's strategic objectives. Collaborates closely with key stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs, acting as a primary liaison and mentor within the analyst team.
Main Responsabilities
- Analyzes and documents current processes while collaborating with business and technical areas to define future processes, mapping critical dependencies, involved systems, and information flows.
- Leads the negotiation and prioritization of features or enablers using indicators and value criteria, aligning operational needs with strategic goals and ensuring their inclusion in the backlog.
- Translates complex requirements into user stories and functional documentation, providing clear guidance to the development team regarding the expected solutions.
- Acts as a mentor for junior analysts, promoting best practices in product analysis and contributing to the definition of internal standards for documentation and communication.
- Facilitates interactions between business and technical areas, addressing questions and managing stakeholder expectations to ensure alignment and transparency on project progress.
- Actively participates in the validation and functional testing of developed solutions, ensuring they meet defined standards and business needs.
- Supervises the implementation of changes and new functionalities, ensuring execution quality and communicating the development status to stakeholders.
- Monitors post-implementation performance, analyzing key metrics, proposing improvements when necessary, and ensuring proper measurement of impact in collaboration with areas such as SRE and Operations.
- Develops and maintains robust functional and technical documentation to ensure understanding and continuity of implemented solutions.
- Participates in managing the product lifecycle, including tracking user stories, managing backlogs, and planning deliverables for sprints.
- Maintains a consistent focus on continuous improvement, proposing adjustments to product development processes based on best practices and industry trends
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in product analysis, tech product management, or related fields.
- Demonstrates advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven experience with financial products such as credit cards, debit cards, SPEI, remittances, or specific products in the assigned area, including knowledge of their regulation in Mexico.
- Proficient in collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, AWS, Postman, Power BI, SQL and non-rational databases with the ability to learn and adopt new technologies as needed.
- Highly skilled in functional and technical documentation, ensuring clarity and usability for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrates advanced critical analysis and problem-solving skills, identifying improvements and proposing viable solutions for complex processes.
- Excellent communication skills, facilitating proper interpretation of requirements and progress with technical and business stakeholders.
- Capable of managing multiple projects or tasks simultaneously, prioritizing high-quality deliverables and ensuring business objectives are met.
- Experienced in collaborating on the validation and functional testing of products, ensuring the quality of delivered solutions.
