Reporting to the Marketing Operations lead, the Marketing Assistant will be responsible for supporting the core administrative, operational, and marketing execution needs of a cross-functional Marketing and Communications team. 

This is an exciting opportunity to be a foundational part of a growing team of experienced and innovative marketers and communications professionals building the MarComm function of the future to drive the vision, mission and growth of Digital Asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of presentation materials for internal, management and board meetings.
  • Provide support for data entry, operations, and system administration for marketing tech stack and CRM systems.
  • Assist with day-to-day digital marketing execution, including social media posts, web and blog updates.
  • Provide day-to-day operations support to the Marketing team, including scheduling meetings, developing meeting agendas and preparing meeting minutes, tracking follow-up/action items, travel and logistics, and facilitating cross-functional communications.
  • Support various marketing initiatives including events coordination and logistics for trade shows, DA-hosted meetups and customer events, webinars, and executive speaking engagements, editorial calendar, marketing research and analysis, and project planning.
  • Support the financial operations of the team including budget and expense tracking, vendor administration and onboarding, marketing performance and executive reporting needs (dashboards, activity reports, executive management updates).

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently; effectively managing competing priorities, ambitious goals, and a fast pace of work with grace, determination, a high standard of excellence, and a good sense of humour.
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to collaborate efficiently and collegially with a wide range of teammates with diverse backgrounds, skill sets, and mindsets.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and present, priorities, results, and learnings to a diverse audience of colleagues, including C-suite and non-marketers.
  • Strong English oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with social media platforms (we use LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter).
  • Experience with core office and productivity software (we use Google Workspace, Atlassian, Adobe, Zoom, Slack and more).

Preferred Criteria

  • Experience with marketing automation software (such as Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot) is a plus!
  • Experience working in a startup or growth stage company is a plus!
  • Experience with B2B or enterprise technology companies is a plus!
