At Digital Asset, we strive to contribute to our community. Some of our team have recently mentored individuals from Underrepresented Minorities (URMs) in tech and one of our realizations is that while these folks are extremely talented, one of their biggest barriers is a lack of experience and self-confidence in interviews. For example, we've seen some who's background speaks volumes to their self-learning capabilities but they struggled to explain the relevance of this non-traditional experience to interviewers from different backgrounds. Unfortunately many Tech Sector Job Interviews Assess Anxiety, Not Software Skills.

In the past few months we've mock-interviewed URMs and their feedback has been that our mock interviews helped them immensely to prepare and build confidence ahead of their real interviews at other companies. This job opening is our attempt to scale what we've been doing until now on an ad-hoc basis. If you consider yourself an Underrepresented Minority in tech, please apply as you normally would to any job and we'll try to match you with one of our volunteer interviewers for a mock-interview.

All interviews will be conducted remotely over Zoom

  • Prepare for this interview as you would for any real interview

  • You consider yourself an underrepresented minority in tech
  • Let us know what role/department you're going to interview for so we can best match the interviewers
  • Examples of people we've interviewed (but by no means limited to these) include people of color in the US, female engineers worldwide, engineers from very religious closed-community backgrounds
