About the role

As the first Business Development Representative at Digibee, you will play a crucial role in building our market presence and customer base. This position requires a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who is eager to take on challenges and make significant impacts in a fast-paced environment. You will be instrumental in developing strategies and engaging with potential clients to establish a strong foundation for our sales efforts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and build a pipeline of potential clients in the mid-market and small enterprise segments.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, including customized emails, LinkedIn messages, text messages, and calls.
  • Engage with prospects to understand their business needs and challenges, and effectively communicate Digibee's value proposition.
  • Schedule qualified meetings and demos for the sales team.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to enhance prospecting efforts.
  • Attend industry conferences, webinars, and other networking events to build relationships and gather market insights.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the sales process, iterate and share findings with the team.

 

What you’ll need to bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the B2B SaaS or technology sector.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify potential opportunities and trends.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Independent and goal-oriented, with a drive to initiate and execute new projects with minimal guidance.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for technology and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with prospects and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to persuasively convey the value of our products to potential clients.
