Digibee is an iPaaS that scales integration workflows while reducing cost and technical debt. Rather than require specialized integration experts, Digibee lets every developer quickly build, test, deploy, govern, and monitor integrations across on-premise and cloud environments using a simple but powerful low-code interface.
Founded in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2017 and headquartered in Weston, Florida, our team is widely distributed throughout the Americas. In May of 2023, Digibee closed a Series B funding round of $60 million that is intended to drive our expansion in the United States.
About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Engineering Manager to lead the Build & Catalog team. This role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our integration technology and extend its functionalities. You will be responsible for both technical and managerial leadership, driving innovation and performance while ensuring alignment with the organizational goals.
On a typical day, you will…
- Technical Leadership
- Lead the team responsible for the development and maintenance of our microservices-based core integration engine.
- Lead the team focused on extending the engine capabilities through the development of connectors, triggers, and other add-ons.
- Propose technical hypotheses and drive R&D efforts to improve system capabilities.
- Ensure proper architecture for a highly distributed system.
- Work closely with the technical team, participating in code reviews, discussions, and validating the use of best practices.
- High-Performance Focus
- Drive initiatives focused on optimizing application performance, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and reliability.
- Dive deep into technology and pay attention to details to guarantee high-quality outputs.
- Prioritize and execute performance benchmarks and load testing to validate system scalability and stability.
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee end-to-end deployment pipelines, ensuring that software is not just delivered but also effectively runs in production environments.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence within the team, emphasizing reliability, monitoring, and incident response.
- People Leadership
- Lead a team of engineers; mentor and guide them through their career development.
- Hire new team members and manage performance, including dismissals when necessary.
- Lead and manage budget allocation for the teams.
- Ensure teams meet project milestones and delivery timelines.
- English proficiency is required for effective communication with our global team and partners
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and upper management.

- Strong experience with React, Java, Kubernetes, and other related technologies.

- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in managing people.

- Prior experience in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Familiarity with various integration frameworks and a strong commitment to open-source contributions.
- Familiarity with the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) methodology is a plus
