QA Engineer

We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join our Engineering team and make our apps a joy to use.

About the role

Millions of fans use DICE, and you’ll be making sure they do so without a hitch. With a focus on quality, it’ll be your job to keep bugs or flaws out. You’ll collaborate with an incredible team to test exciting features manually and contribute to our automation testing efforts, knowing your keen eye for detail helps fans all over the world have a smoother experience.  

You’ll be

  • Collaboratively work as part of an Agile product team to manually test our mobile and web solutions (on iOS, Android and web)
  • Identify the appropriate data for testing and work on data conditioning needs
  • Review and verify functional and system requirements to ensure project deliverables pass QA criteria; provide work estimates for testing activities.
  • Document and prioritize defects and bugs and work with the team to resolve issues
  • Execute manual test cycles to ensure the quality of our deliverables
  • Contribute to our automated test suites when necessary
  • Provide production support as needed
  • Able to work in an adhoc environment
  • Comfortable with project management tools like JIRA, Slack, Figma, Notion etc
  • Communicating with stakeholders to better understand business and technical priorities

You’ll need

  • Proven experience with bug-tracking tools like Jira and as a tester in an agile team
  • A background in manual testing is required
  • Mid-level knowledge of web automation
  • A desire for perfection and a keen eye for flaws in function and form 
  • Analyse and test UI and UX requirements
  • Knowledge of mobile, web and backend
