The Team

Our Customers rely on us for their most critical communications; their sales calls, their support lines, their all-hands team meetings. They trust us to be worldwide, responsive, scalable and always available. And our QA team plays a very key role in maintaining that trust while we ship big and often.
This is a great opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team of QA Engineers and contribute to establishing a Test Center of Excellence at Dialpad, whose goal is to provide QA know-how and the Test frameworks for the organization, and manage test environments, test data, and test environment virtualization.
What you will do
- Work with your team to build an understanding of the product portfolio, the business workflows in the product, and the release cadence
- Work closely with your manager to understand the vision, challenges, and opportunities ahead in the automation arena.
- You will build an understanding of existing internal automation tools and frameworks.
- Develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the existing internal automation tools and frameworks.
- Execute automated test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to understand project requirements and develop automated test scenarios/strategies accordingly.
- You would be comfortable participating in the Functional Test Execution run cadence
- You will start delivering results towards current OKRs
Skills you’ll bring
- You are a B.E/BTech Engineering Graduate, with a degree in computer science/software engineering with a broad technical understanding and interest.
- You bring in 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent mix of work and project experience in functional testing and test tools development (test automation) on Web applications.
- You are someone who has a deep passion for Quality Engineering with strong fundamentals in software development and testing
- You are excited to contribute to increasing release confidence with comprehensive testing.
- Experience in Web Application validation of SaaS-based Products and Services would be a plus
- Tooling experience with Selenium Webdriver and open-source test application frameworks is preferred.
- Java programming experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of VoIP, Telecommunication Systems, and Communication technologies including WebRTC or SIP-based service would be a definite plus.
