The SEO team plays an essential role in driving not only traffic, but also leads and revenue. This team collaborates closely with Design, Web Dev, and the greater Marketing team to constantly improve our website experience while impacting the bottom line.
We’re looking for a Content SEO Specialist to support our organic growth efforts.
Your role
As a Content SEO Specialist, you’ll create content briefs, review drafts, optimize content, and help track its performance. In this role, you’ll combine your skills in research, content, and SEO to help hit our goals. You’ll work closely with the content team to make sure we’re publishing high-quality content that drives clicks to our website. In addition, you’ll also help identify what content is underperforming and determine what’s missing.
This position reports to our Global SEO Manager.
What you’ll do
- Conduct research to create detailed content briefs that are optimized for humans (and search engines)
- Keyword and competitor analysis to find untapped keywords
- Monitor and report on keyword rankings to identify opportunities
- Write and edit existing content to make sure that it’s up-to-date
- Write meta tags that resonate with our audience
- Run A/B tests for our content to improve its performance
Skills you’ll bring
- 3+ years of experience writing and editing content, ideally for a SaaS business
- Strong research skills and ability to think like the different audiences we write for
- Firm knowledge of SEO best practices
- Demonstrated ability (be prepared to speak to past performance) to drive SEO content performance
- Excellent written communication skills, especially in writing and editing
- Ability to analyze and report on keyword performance
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a “Do the Right Thing” attitude
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get work done
- Experience using SEO tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, etc.
