We are looking for a Business Strategy Manager that will join our Strategy & Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating analysis to drive our business, GTM, and product strategy. Your analysis will provide insight into the US healthcare market and guide our company’s strategy. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including senior management, product, and business development teams, as well as external stakeholders, to collect relevant research and communicate findings to drive impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Create analyses of strategic directions, including market segmentation, positioning, competitor analysis, strategic partnership proposals, etc.
  • Conduct multimodal market research to inform our understanding of market conditions, through online research, conducting interviews, reviewing academic literature, and quantitative data-driven analysis
  • Develop and maintain a network of external Subject Matter Experts to help inform our understanding of the market, and get feedback from these in-market experts
  • Work with the product team, business development team, and senior management to construct analysis to support decision making around strategic directions for the company
  • Create collateral explaining our reasoning and directions to relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Own multiple ongoing projects with varying timelines and deliverable types

Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience in business strategy, business analysis, and/or market research roles in the healthcare industry. 
  • Deep knowledge of the US healthcare market and its various verticals, including health plans, provider organizations, and employers.
  • Ability to methodologically structure analysis and insights from a diverse set of sources into clear, coherent insights that help propel the company strategy.
  • Ability to directly acquire information about the market, including through online research, conducting interviews, reviewing academic literature, and quantitative data-driven analysis.
  • Process and structured oriented with strategic planning capabilities
  • Ability to influence a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders with energy, passion, enthusiasm, and a hunger for success.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present long-form decks, research findings, and case studies to internal and external audiences.
  • Customer service and customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Ambitious mentality, flexible, self starter, self-motivated, and hard-working. You actively recognize needs, resolve problems, anticipate issues, and develop solutions.
