About the team:

As part of our Marketing Operations team, you will work closely with other Marketing colleagues, Sales, Product Management, and Technology to define, develop, and lead marketing operations, supporting the activation and management of marketing, campaign, and operational support activities. 

About the role:

As a Senior Manager Marketing - Marketing Operations, you will focus on the Dice brand and will be responsible for managing customer email and direct mail communications to our B2B audience of companies who rely upon Dice to satisfy their needs when hiring technology professionals 

Why we’re hiring for this role:

By utilizing key quantitative and qualitative insights, you will shape engagement marketing strategies, partner with an internal Sales organization, and implement B2B email technologies and best practices. 

In the short term you will:

  • Guide and oversee strategy as well as day-to-day marketing operations, working with marketing peers and colleagues to ensure marketing and campaign activities are consistently executed regarding best practices and can be properly tracked, managed, and optimized. 
  • Manage and execute against three core marketing operations functions: Technology roadmap projects, marketing automation and campaign operations, and cross unit alignment between Revenue Operations and Marketing.
  • Define lead, and manage strategic marketing operations projects 
  • Work across Marketing Operations to ensure marketing technology integration, automation structure, and connections between systems supports reporting, analysis, and optimization.
  • Work with third-party vendors and resources to ensure vendors execute to standard operating procedures and deliver to expectations
  • Lead and manage the Marketing Operations Coordinator ensuring that team member is consistently performing to expectations

In the long term you will:

  • Consistently manage and execute to the standard that all marketing activities are delivered in a consistent, scalable, reportable and optimizable fashion.
  • Define, develop and enforce standard operating procedures for marketing activities and campaign operations, ensuring that marketing leaders, peers and employees are executing to standard 
  • Define, develop and maintain project documents, artifacts, and resource materials related to marketing activities and Marketing Operations processes.
  • Maintain certified expertise on all marketing technology platforms and systems and be able to routinely advise peers and colleagues as needed
  • Continually develop and refine operational processes both within the marketing operations teams, as well as defining standard operating procedures for the marketing team at-large.

What you bring to the team:

Required:

  • Proven B2B marketing or B2B marketing technology experience 
  • Proven leadership experience managing direct reports as well as project management experience
  • Deep expertise in customer lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, campaign operations and standard marketing operating procedures
  • Ability to independently define, drive and execute strategic projects and tasks, proven track record of finding solutions 
  • Identify and create opportunities to leverage internal stakeholders and third-party partners to improve processes and practices
  • Ability to consistently deliver to best practice, responsible for maintaining and building requisite expertise required to do so
  • Certified expertise on Marketo, Salesforce, 6sense, and relevant marketing technology
  • Self-driven and independent
  • Exhibit excellent problem solving, communication skills, and time management
  • The ability to develop and deliver effective presentations

 Preferred:

  • If not certified in Marketo, Salesforce, 6sense, and relevant marketing technology, the ability to do so within three months of being hired 

Denver pay range: Base salary/pay per year, plus 10% annual bonus at 100% of plan targets tied to company and individual performance. Offer will depend on location and level of job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.
