In this role you will lead Marketing campaigns that support ICP’s numerous initiatives, in collaboration with the rest of the Global Marketing & Adoption team.
With your penchant for thorough user-centric Marketing planning, your expertise of segmented communications taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of each channel, and your creative flair for impactful campaign visuals and messaging, you will strengthen the Internet Computer’s Share of Voice, Reach and Engagement across all channels – enabled by cross-departmental collaboration.
You will work closely with the Branding & Design, Institutional Affairs, and a marketing agency and contractors to define marketing and go-to-market strategies. Working across multiple work streams and projects, you will be championing a user-first and data-driven mindset.
Your integrated marketing strategies will be targeting developers, tech enthusiasts, enterprise, governments, and NGOs, globally.
You will report into the Head of Marketing Strategy & Performance, and will work very closely with the Institutional Affairs, Adoption, R&D, Business Strategy, Growth, and Partnerships teams.
The role is based out of the DFINITY Foundation’s HQ in Zurich, Switzerland. You may be potentially traveling to a few key global events during the year.
Key responsibilities
- Planning and coordination of integrated marketing campaigns and programs, ensuring branding and messaging consistency across all channels, in close collaboration with Branding & Design and Institutional Affairs teams
- Act as a project manager for key campaigns to ensure the delivery of high quality and high performing initiatives, that support the ecosystem’s growth
- Collaborate with the rest of the Marketing team to help improve brand messaging, thought leadership, and content creation according to our target audiences through a data-driven approach
- Create consistent programs for social media and community engagement (e.g. webinars/podcasts series, ecosystem highlights, etc)
- Manage the Marketing agency to ensure their delivery is optimal
- Initiate and implement special projects for the marketing team
- Provide regular reports and insights to the wider Marketing team and Leadership
Required Skills and Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in leading Marketing campaigns for relevant brands
- 3+ years of marketing experience with blockchain/Web3 projects
- Solid experience managing external suppliers, especially creative agencies
- Experience with data-driven marketing campaigns
- Excellent copywriting skills, and spoken English (other European language skills a plus).
- Hands-on, proactive and diligent
- Keen interest in Crypto, Blockchain, DeFi, AI (comfort and experience using decentralized crypto software such as wallets, DEX's, etc a plus)
- Be process-driven, detail-oriented but also pragmatic and service-focused
- Competent working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
- Keep open lines of communication, collaborate with other teams and suppliers
- Ability to work with remote, distributed teams
