We are searching for an innovative scientist to work in the laboratory and drive our in vitro biochemical and cellular assay development efforts. You will have a strong scientific background in cellular biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry with experience in optimizing and validating robotic-based assays for high-throughput screening using biochemical, protein-protein interaction, indicator gene and high content assay readouts. Experience in supporting lead optimization programs and performing target validation and biochemical and cellular mechanism of action studies is preferred. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to further the discovery efforts.

Ph.D. in neuroscience, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology or a related field
5+ years of pharmaceutical company experience with a wide range of cell-based assays using indicator gene (luciferase, GFP, SEAP etc) and high content assay readouts
Strong attention to detail, ability to balance multiple objectives
Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary and dynamic environment
Ability to communicate effectively in English, the shared language of our multicultural team
Experience with a wide range of biochemical assays including but not limited to FRET and protein binding assays, high content imaging, mechanism of action studies, and proteomics
Experienced in diverse molecular and cell biology techniques, including siRNA, CRISPR, sequencing, pull down assays, western blots, fluorescent microscopy and flow cytometry
Experienced in supporting lead optimization programs and performing target validation and biochemical and cellular mechanism of action studies
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information in a clear and thorough manner
