Program Manager, #801
Clearance: US Citizenship required - Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS clearance.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Program Manager shall be the primary interface with our federal client. Manager shall attend status meetings and ad hoc meetings with stakeholders and shall be accompanied by the Technical Lead(s) when requested. Program Manager shall be a single point of contact for resolution of contract related issues and accountable for all project management and administrative responsibilities supporting the contract and project.
- Administrative support tasks, including meeting logistics and coordination, maintaining Contractor EOD submission paperwork, Contractor provisioning requests for email, PIV card, GFE, exit and transfer paperwork, documentation etc.
- Program management support includes oversight of the program, team communication, performance, personnel, financials and reporting. The Contractor Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of the program management function.
- Required to attend regular meeting to discuss the program performance and any issues or upcoming initiatives.
- Responsible for formulating and delivering an action plan to correct issues. As well as ensuring that all deliverables are provided in a timely manner
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 10 years of IT experience
- Minimum of 5 years in project manager or project lead role
- Experience leading highly effective teams in the agile delivery of software, including both O&M and new development
- Direct experience with application migrations and modernizations in a federal agency environment
- Proven track record of successfully managing software development projects or tasks on schedule and within budget
- Experience with planning, organizing, and controlling assigned activities from conceptual to final stages of the development life cycle to meet performance objectives and customer satisfaction metrics
- Must excel at establishing trust and fostering positive relationships with client and fellow team members
- Must demonstrate the ability to have strong, proactive client communication delivered with energy and vision
- Superb client communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with Agile development approaches including Scrum, Kanban, or Lean practices
Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:
- PMP certification strongly preferred
- CSM certification preferred
- Experience with SDLC within a federal government environment preferred
Our estimated salary range for this position is $116,000-$175,000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on education, experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
