We are looking for a Sr. Account Supervisor with excellent knowledge of the modern beauty landscape and its key influencers to join our beauty team.  As an important key team leader, this person will provide strategic oversight and planning of all traditional media (media outreach, events, and branding partnerships) as well as influencer partnerships and must be fluent in all aspects of media partnerships (co-branding, integrations, digital platforms). 

What you'll do:

  • Keep client programs on schedule and ensure all deadliness are met
  • Structure long term plans and program recommendations for clients
  • Earn the confidence of mid-to-senior level client contacts and other client executives
  • Proactively handle client problems quickly and adeptly
  • Serve as senior contact for client
  • Contribute to and promote business development by counseling clients
  • Develop and deliver client presentations
  • Develop media relations strategies and deliver results
  • Drive the development of appropriate public relations strategies and programs
  • Know the industry’s issues that directly and indirectly affect the client
  • Demonstrate a well-developed knowledge of relevant client media
  • Generate ideas for media outreach and pitch efforts
  • Direct and supervise special events (eg: satellite media tours, desk side briefings, editor events, etc.)
  • Work with administration and staff to generate letters of agreement, contracts and strategic project plans for current and new clients
  • Accountable for quality control and final review of all letters, memos, meeting reports, and client materials
  • Instruct staff in the area of writing and editing
  • Oversee development of releases, customer profiles, bylined articles, and other press materials
