Manager of Event and Field Marketing
 
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach, capable of creating impactful event experiences and content, while leveraging data-driven insights to continuously improve marketing strategies and drive business growth.
 
About the Role:
As Manager of Event and Field Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation across our global markets. This role is pivotal in building our brand's presence and nurturing customer relationships through a mix of events, customer-focused initiatives, and strategic partnerships, with a strong emphasis on content creation and data-driven insights.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Event Management:
    • Plan, execute, and manage various marketing events, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and workshops.
    • Oversee all aspects from concept to completion, including venue selection, budget management, and post-event analysis.
  2. Event-Centric Content Creation:
    • Develop compelling content before, during, and after events to maximize engagement and impact.
    • Create event-specific materials including presentations, social media content, blog posts, and video content.
    • Repurpose event content for various marketing channels to extend its reach and value.
  3. Customer Showcase at Events:
    • Organize and facilitate customer showcase sessions at both physical and digital events.
    • Work with customers to prepare engaging presentations or demonstrations of their success with our products.
    • Create opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and networking among customers at events.
  4. Data Analysis and Insights:
    • Conduct comprehensive qualitative and quantitative data analysis of event performance and customer feedback.
    • Design and implement surveys to gather attendee insights and satisfaction metrics.
    • Analyze and report on what we're learning from events, including both numerical data and qualitative feedback.
    • Use these insights to continuously improve event strategies and customer experiences.
  5. Strategy Development and Execution:
    • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligning events, customer marketing, and partner initiatives with business objectives.
    • Lead strategic planning sessions and adapt strategies based on event performance and customer insights.
  6. Lead Generation:
    • Utilize events and related content to generate leads and nurture prospects.
    • Track and report on lead generation metrics and marketing activity effectiveness.
  7. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with sales, customer success, product, and partner teams to align event strategies and content with overall business goals.
    • Collaborate with these teams to identify and prepare customers for showcase opportunities.
  8. Brand Ambassadorship:
    • Represent the company at events, ensuring a positive brand experience for attendees.
    • Cultivate relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on event management, content creation, and data analysis.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive event marketing strategies.
  • Strong content creation skills across various formats (written, visual, video).
  • Experience in organizing customer showcase sessions at events.
  • Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative data analysis, including survey design and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in marketing analytics and ROI measurement.
  • Proficiency in CRM, marketing automation tools, and data visualization software.
  • Creative thinker with a results-driven approach to marketing.
  • 25% travel, ability to travel as required for events on quarterly basis.
