About the role
We are a peculiar SaaS revenue organization, built to support a rapidly scaling technology startup driven by a hybrid of product-led-growth and sales-led-growth (PLG / SLG). We’re looking for hustlers to accelerate the startups and SMB customer segment business for DevRev via all aspects of marketing including content, digital (marketing drip campaigns), product, developers and startup events. It will require working closely with multiple functions including sales, marketing, product managers, technical teams and more. Overall, this role will be critical to establish and scale the PLG motion for DevRev over time.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute cross-functional marketing plan focused on startups & developers
- Conceptualise and drive execution of innovative marketing campaigns to promote awareness, consideration and adoption of DevRev offerings to startups
- Be the subject matter expert for startup marketing drip campaigns, digital marketing campaigns and product marketing
- Ideate and drive creative startup and developer focused events and be an active participant in third party events
- Help refine the messaging and positioning of DevRev offerings to early stage startups
- Accountable for driving awareness to broader startup & developer community and generating pipeline for new startup logos
- Collaborate efficiently with sales, demand generation, brand marketing, and product marketing teams to scale startup campaigns across channels.
- Analyze large volumes of data and generate valuable insights to drive up pipeline and revenue.
- Stay abreast of trends, updates and best practices across channels and our industry.
Requirements
- Passionate about startups, marketing and GenAI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in Startups Marketing, Business Development or Program Manager roles
- Strong understanding of SaaS products, subscription models, and cloud computing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Good organizational skills including stakeholder management, time management, priorisation and meeting deadlines.
- Strong ownership, bias for action and maintaining a high quality bar on deliverables
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scrappy and global environment
