A requirement of this role is to be local to the Bay Area and able to be onsite in Palo Alto, 2-3 days per week.

As a member of the Analyst Relations team, you will be responsible for crafting our industry analyst strategy and developing and nurturing relationships with analyst firms to drive positive perceptions and recognition of DevRev. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our external messaging, influencing market perceptions, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our visibility and credibility. Most importantly, you will have a great opportunity in front of you to develop a deep understanding of AI, design, customer experience, and authenticity in analyst relations.

DevRev is passionate about word of mouth testimonials from the grassroots users. You will learn to bring that social “energy”  to industry analysts who are about keeping their ears close to the ground.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive analyst relations strategies aligned with company goals and objectives, including managing analyst inquiries, briefing sessions, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry analysts, including scheduling briefings, providing updates on company developments, and facilitating engagements to ensure continuous dialogue and collaboration.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Product Management, Marketing, and Executive Leadership, to gather insights, articulate messaging, and ensure alignment on key narratives and positioning.
  • Monitor and analyze analyst research reports, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to internal teams.
  • Drive participation in industry analyst evaluations, such as Magic Quadrants, Wave reports, and MarketScapes, by coordinating submission processes, facilitating briefings, and supporting responses to analyst inquiries.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams on analyst relations best practices, providing guidance on effective engagement strategies and tactics to enhance analyst perceptions and advocacy.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in analyst relations, public relations, marketing, or related roles within the technology industry.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with industry analysts, with a deep understanding of analyst ecosystems, methodologies, and evaluation processes.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align analyst relations activities with broader business objectives and drive measurable impact on company reputation and market perception.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for teamwork and cross-functional collaboration, coupled with the ability to work independently and proactively drive initiatives forward.
