You’re an experienced content strategist or content marketer with proven experience of building content strategy from the ground up and executing it

WHAT YOU’D DO

  • Lead all facets of the content strategy process from overarching strategic approach to defining topics that will bring the strategy to life
  • Use tools to find data including search and social listening, to identify audience interests and insights
  • Define various audiences and segment them based on their needs
  • Go deep into content strategy to develop editorial calendar and advise on media formats to execute the strategy.
  • Collaborate with brand strategists, social strategists, data analysts and media team on research, strategy development and execution
  • Inspire new ways to execute content in new formats beyond the standard articles, white papers, webinars etc.
  • Guide UX, creative, production, client teams during content development
  • Be responsible for the editorial oversight of our ongoing content creation
  • Partner with data strategy and media teams to establish key campaign metrics and their progress.
  • Inspire the team with trends in content marketing and distribution
  • Establish relationships with client contacts at all levels to be the voice of the agency in presenting and selling content strategy Lead content strategy in new business pitches

 

WHAT YOU’VE GOT

  • Entrepreneurial spirit: A self-starter who can figure out a way to get it even when the information provided by the client is minimal
  • 2-4 years of experience in independently developing content strategy from scratch and executing it
  • Strong ability to use data tools and turn those into actionable findings
  • Independently do secondary and desk research to build hypothesis
  • Can do basic primary research such as interviewing stakeholders, subject matter experts, target audience and turn those into a research report
  • Able to connect all the dots from research findings and turn them into strategy
  • Can write and speak in a simple, jargon-free manner
  • Craft and deliver engaging presentations as a story
  • Knowledge and understanding of UX, SEO is not necessary but a big plus
