Deutsch is a full-service advertising agency looking for a Financial Analyst to join the Finance team at Deutsch.  This role calls for someone with an interest in creating and analyzing scopes of work and staffing plans for various accounts within our agency to ensure we’re operating efficiently.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work closely with account teams to prepare quarterly client reconciliations
  • Produce high quality, accurate and timely reporting for clients
  • Assist in the monthly revenue close process
  • Assist in creating and revising client staff plans for all scopes of work
  • Monitor and analyze accounts to ensure accounts remain profitable
  • Track and analyze monthly client time reports vs budgeted hours and fee
  • Participate in monthly financial meetings with account teams
  • Manage employee utilization grid for proper resource management
  • Ensure client and account management deadlines are met
  • Maintain job roll up for all scopes of work
  • Coordinate with multiple IPG offices and departments
  • Assist with time compliance and maintenance
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting

WHAT YOU’VE GOT

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP would help someone in this role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and analytical background
  • Dedicated team player who can also work independently and proactively
  • Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize work
  • Juggle multiple deadlines
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Client finance exposure and experience working with scopes and staff plans is definitely a big plus
