About This Role

Hello, prospective pickle! Design Pickle is looking for an experienced Creative Director who will continue to build and develop our strategic marketing content to drive growth and retention.

As a player-coach, this new role will lead and inspire an internal team of graphic designers and video producers to develop and execute integrated marketing content for Design Pickle that drives elevated awareness and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing and managing creative strategy and content strategy within a fast-growing global SaaS organization or marketplace

On a daily basis, works closely with Sales, Customer Success, Demand Generation, and Product Marketing.

Reports to: Russ Perry, Chief Executive Officer

Location: PST or MST time zones. Design Pickle is a fully remote company with a Company Hub in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Specific to this role, we’re looking for individuals who have…

  • Enthusiasm for our purpose: To be the most helpful creative company in the world.
  • 7+ years of experience in roles of growing responsibility working for a global B2B company
  • Hands-on experience managing creative teams and graphic designers
  • Strategic thinking and creative horsepower to balance the management and execution of larger/strategic creative campaigns as well as  quickly execute high-impact, innovative marketing campaigns and programs as needed.
  • Experience writing, reviewing, and proofing short and long-form content, providing direction to ensure voice and brand consistency
  • Creative/Design Agency background is a plus

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative process and management of the production teams to deliver truly creative campaigns that help our teams reach their respective goals and targets 
  • Improve creative ideas and deliverables based on the data collected from the results of past campaigns
  • Own creative strategy across brand campaigns, demand generation, events, and other GTM initiatives; serve as the key point of contact for all marketing creative and content production.
  • Take over and mange the rollout of Design Pickle’s new brand (launching Q1-2025) to update and modernize all points of the prospect and client journey.
  • Audit and enhance our content marketing library, identifying areas of opportunity to improve our assets that support Demand Generation initiatives
  • Partner with the Demand Generation team to research and develop new channels to drive brand awareness and engagement
  • Partner with the Product Marketing and Customer Success teams to identify marketing content gaps, creating a roadmap to deliver assets that support customer retention
  • Manage and drive consistency of brand messaging across marketing and cross-functionally, including Sales, Customer Success, and our global creative Production teams.

The compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 annually. The actual salary offer made to a candidate will be made with mindful consideration of a wide range of factors. These factors include but are not limited to skills, qualifications, education/knowledge, experience, and alignment with market data for a given location within the US. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for additional compensation such as bonuses or commissions. This salary data is for our US-based positions only.
