As we scale, we are looking for a dynamic Recruiting Manager to join our People team, who will play a pivotal role in driving talent acquisition strategies and execution while leading and mentoring a small, high-performing recruiting team. Position Overview:
As the Recruiting Manager, you will be both a strategic partner and a hands-on leader, responsible for recruiting top talent for our most senior and critical roles, reporting to the VP of People. This is a player/coach role, where you will recruit, mentor, and develop a small team of three recruiters. You will work closely with leaders across the company to understand their hiring needs and ensure our recruitment strategies align with company goals and business growth objectives. Your ability to manage, mentor, and inspire the team, while executing on high-level recruiting initiatives, will be key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and scale a team of three recruiters, fostering a high-performance culture that emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Strategic Partnership: Partner with senior leaders across departments to understand hiring needs, growth objectives, and how talent acquisition can support business goals.
- Senior-Level Recruitment: Act as a hands-on recruiter for senior, executive, and highly specialized roles, working closely with leadership to source and hire top talent.
- Talent Strategy: Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies that attract top talent in a competitive market, with a focus on building diverse teams.
- Coaching & Development: Mentor, develop, and coach recruiters, helping them advance in their careers and elevate their recruiting skills, ensuring ongoing team growth and performance.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine recruitment processes to improve efficiency, candidate experience, and alignment with company needs.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data and metrics to track recruiting performance, identify trends, and refine strategies to achieve hiring goals.
- Employer Branding: Collaborate with the marketing and HR teams to enhance the company’s employer brand and ensure a consistent, positive candidate experience.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to the VP of People and senior leadership on recruitment progress, challenges, and key metrics.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in recruiting, with at least 2+ years in a managerial or team lead role.
- Proven experience recruiting for senior-level roles in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally in a startup or technology company.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, while also being hands-on in recruitment efforts.
- Deep understanding of recruitment best practices and strategies, including sourcing, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to align recruiting efforts with company growth and strategic objectives.
- Deep knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting software.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

The base salary range for this role is $140,000- $190,000/year. Final offer amounts will carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location, and may vary from the amount above.
