This role is part of our Creative & Media team based in Amsterdam. Our team is a vibrant mix of talents, ranging from Creatives, Influencer Marketers, Brand & Content Strategists to Account Managers, Programmatic and Marketing Automation Consultants. Together, we blend imaginative storytelling and performance-driven strategies with cutting-edge technology to create engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Netflix, Canva, Foot Locker, Philips & Biscoff.
JOB PURPOSE
As our Influencer Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, pitching and executing impactful influencer marketing strategies.
You will be working on developing concepts and strategies, building client relationships, pitching your ideas to clients and spotting and following up on opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be able to handle projects independently under the supervision of your team leader;
- Your extensive expertise enables you to pitch your plans to clients in a compelling manner and understand what it takes to persuade a client;
- You maintain a long-term focus on the various clients you manage and represent the company to your clients;
- You can adapt to the profiles and preferences of clients and team members;
- You act as a strategic marketing consultant for your client portfolio, providing support to the project team;
- You present with confidence and expertise and can hold your ground in confrontations and negotiations;
- Your extensive media network regularly generates requests from your connections;
- You keep your network up-to-date by scheduling regular coffee meetings and attending events.
- You are eager to stay up to date on the latest social, influencer and digital trends and developments.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Extensive experience and a proven track record in the Influencer Marketing industry and a built-up network in the media world;
- You are considered an expert within your field in your network;
- Have a strategic vision, often being two or three steps ahead of others;
- Can make questions tangible with advice, detailed decks, and/or a roadmap;
- Is entrepreneurial and eager to take on any opportunities that come their way;
- Have proven experience in devising (social & influencer) campaigns, media, and content for A-brands, with a strategic perspective from the platform;
- Have knowledge of new (social) platforms, media approaches, and technologies;
- Can articulate complex issues in a simple manner;
- Can interpret data and develop concrete concepts based on it;
- You are confident in client communication in challenging projects and are able to convince them of your recommendations;
- You have strong communication skills and master the English language; both verbally and in writing;
