DEPT is seeking a self-motivated and solution-oriented Associate Director to join our Adtech & Data Strategy team. In this pivotal role, you will drive innovation and strategic growth in the mobile app advertising industry, leveraging your expertise to shape user acquisition strategies and navigate the evolving adtech landscape.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Act as a mobile expert, providing guidance to clients and internal teams on user acquisition strategies and technical nuances within the mobile ecosystem.
- Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to clearly understand advertiser challenges, then recommend and implement solutions.
- Lead the planning, strategy, and management of new test channels for user acquisition.
- Troubleshoot and solve strategic challenges related to MMPs and other mobile adtech tools.
- Perform analysis and communicate with vendors to support the mobile ad fraud prevention program.
- Develop strategies in response to industry changes, such as iOS ATT and SKAN.
- Evaluate and recommend new adtech tools for mobile user acquisition programs.
- Document learnings in a technically accurate and easy to reference format.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 4-6 years of experience in the mobile app space, particularly in user acquisition roles.
- Expertise in mobile measurement methods and familiarity with related dataflows and integrations.
- Comfortable with self-led research and ability to distill complex, technical topics.
- Proficiency in vetting tools and vendors.
- Strong understanding of mobile app business models, platforms, app stores, and industry trends, including privacy policies.
- Strong understanding of mobile KPIs, media buying tactics, and strategies.
- Analytical and innovative thinker with attention to detail and the ability to consider all angles of a situation.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and work independently.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey strategies and results to diverse audiences.
- Self-starter mentality with a track record of setting and achieving goals.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $98,400 - $130,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
