This is remote role, however you must be located within 50 miles of Atlanta, GA to be considered.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Growth Director, focusing on driving sustainable revenue growth from net new clients, primarily, though also at times supporting growth initiatives across organic / existing client business. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the net-new pitch process, developing executive level relationships with clients, and collaborating with marketing teams to enhance our company's positioning. The successful candidate will have a strong background in architecting and selling solutions across the gamut of branding, experience design, creative, ecommerce, technology, product design, innovation, systems integration, digital media, and / or other comparable services.
JOB PURPOSE
As part of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by building relationships with and acquiring new clients for DEPT®.
To be successful in this role, it is imperative to have a curious, commercially focused mind. You must have a broad understanding of a range of industry verticals and the ability to develop go-to-market strategies demonstrating DEPT®’s capabilities. A broad understanding of the entire agency sales funnel— from brand building, to performance tactics, to business development to sales— is important in this role, though primarily the role will be judged on bottom funnel performance, that is to say close rates and sales revenue generation.
You must be able to quickly build trust and rapport, ask the right questions, and bring a strategic approach to selling agency solutions. An entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action and problem-solving is necessary to be successful in this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead net-new pitch process including building pitch timelines, writing pitch briefings, setting pitch win strategies, contributing content for new client proposals and tender documents.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the business development process including qualification strategy, win strategy, pitch casting, usability and best practices in order to better win and deliver for clients, and enhance the DEPT® customer experience.
- Develop executive level relationships with clients that position DEPT® as a strategic partner for current and future project / account work.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure that DEPT®’s differentiated positioning comes to life through case studies, PR, thought leadership content and other marketing material.
- Take on other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Essential:
- 10+ years of agency sales, growth, or client services experience (or equivalent)
- Experience selling agency services across a range of industries and verticals
- Understanding of branding, creative, experience design, and ecommerce
- Ability to collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop solutions that address client needs
- Able to partner with clients to understand their growth needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business
- Experienced in building relationships with C-suite executives (CTOs, CMOs, and CIOs) and business decision-makers
- A self-starter attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate projects across multiple teams and functions

The anticipated salary range for this position is $142,000 - $174,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
