This position sits within our Experience & Engineering team, as part of a new International Delivery Centre. We primarily deliver large-scale website design and build projects, combining our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to help clients including  Google, TikTok, eBay, ASOS, Zoopla, Twitch, Patagonia and many, many more.

We are currently in the process of creating a new International Delivery Centre in India, focussed on delivering award winning work for a range of global clients. We are looking for a number of experts who can help set the standard in the new centre whilst starting to work on a range of exciting digital projects. The role will require some shift working to accommodate working with our global teams.

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a Senior Automation Quality Assurance Analyst to work collaboratively with the development and project management team to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements.

As a Senior Automation Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for working with the QA team to build automation test frameworks that reduce the amount of manual regression testing performed across the entire technology stack to increase speed to market. There would need to be a clear focus on Visual regression testing and End to end journey testing

You must demonstrate a clear understanding of how automation testing is integrated into a project's lifecycle. You will be responsible for ensuring tasks are tested within project deadlines, and managing the documentation of test results for each project. You will report defects accurately and manage through to successful resolution, as well as reporting progress of workload communication effectively and escalating where appropriate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Extensive experience in automated QA/testing within a commercial environment, specifically with web, mobile, and multi-platform projects.
  • Expertise in developing and maintaining automation test frameworks to reduce manual regression testing, using tools such as BrowserStack/SauceLabs, and conducting performance testing with JMeter, Gatling, or K6.
  • Proficiency in visual testing tools (e.g., Percy, Chromatic) and frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Test Cafe), adhering to coding best practices (SOLID principles).
  • Effective use of project and test management tools like Jira and TestRail, with a strong team spirit and the ability to self-manage under pressure.
  • A proven track record in Agile methodologies, fostering continuous improvement, and possessing strong communication skills for engaging with global teams and stakeholders.
  • Desired knowledge includes contract testing, API, or microservices automation, along with familiarity with CI/CD environments, and an innovative approach to automation strategies.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • An excellent understanding of the spoken and written English language.
  • Proven track record of working effectively with global teams, understanding cultural nuances and communication styles.
  • Solid experience in Agile methodologies, with the ability to foster an environment of continuous improvement and adaptability.
  • Exceptional decision-making capabilities, with a focus on delivering results under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders across various levels.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and project management, anticipating challenges and addressing them efficiently.
  • Experience working in one or more of these technologies and industries: Salesforce, Drupal, SPA / PWA, eCommerce, Digital Marketing, CMS.
  • Experience in testing Google Analytics would be a plus! 
  • Flexibility to work in US Central and Eastern time zones.
