DEPT® AI

This role will play a key role within DEPT®/AI. DEPT®/AI has a single mission: to make the best work in the industry using AI to enhance everything we do. This role sits within our Global Data & AI practice, which has deep expertise in leveraging AI. The team includes data strategists, consultants, data scientists and analysts that work alongside DEPT® teams around the world across different services - from commerce, to full-funnel media, content engineering to internal operations. You will be solving some of the hardest and most challenging problems facing some of the best loved brands in the world - and doing this alongside an experienced team.

JOB PURPOSE

In this role you will drive our internal AI change management, plan, organize and utilize resources. You are detail-oriented but you can also think of the ‘big picture’ strategy to drive AI Transformation, while building long-lasting relationships with stakeholders throughout the business. You will drive existing workstreams from operations, to tooling, to ethics, and launch new ones conceived alongside a core group of leaders at DEPT®. You are highly capable of managing complex programs with multiple projects and project management resources independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AI Tool Roll-Out and Oversight:

  • Manage the deployment and integration of AI tools across the organization. 
  • Ensure tools are utilized effectively and meet the needs of various departments.

Ethics and Legal Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the legal and ethics teams to ensure all AI initiatives comply with current laws and uphold our ethical standards.
  • Stay informed about emerging AI regulations and ethical guidelines to preemptively adjust practices.

Driving and Organizing Local AI Taskforces and Initiatives:

  • Establish and lead local AI taskforces to promote AI-driven projects and solutions.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to leverage AI for operational efficiency and innovation.

Supporting AI Leadership:

  • Assist AI leadership in transforming AI concepts into structured initiatives.
  • Track progress and deliver updates on three key AI strategic bets.

Monitoring Industry Trends and Best Practices:

  • Continuously gather credentials and monitor industry advancements to keep DEPT® at the forefront of AI applications.
  • Ensure our AI solutions and case studies reflect leading-edge technology and thought leadership.

AI Training and Education:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive AI training and education programs for employees at both local and global levels.
  • Evaluate training outcomes to ensure proficiency in AI tools and concepts across the organization.

Innovation in AI Adoption:

  • Conceive and develop new AI initiatives that drive cultural transformation and increase AI literacy and engagement within the company.
  • Champion innovative practices that integrate AI seamlessly into daily operations.

Community Management:

  • Oversee the management of AI-focused communication platforms, such as AI Slack channels.
  • Encourage active participation and knowledge sharing among team members to foster a collaborative AI community.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Relevant experience in project/program management;
  • Proficiency in daily communication and engagement with high-level stakeholders and key decision-makers;
  • Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations, address concerns, and provide regular updates on project progress and strategic initiatives;
  • Comfortable navigating through ambiguous and ever-changing situations;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization;
  • Familiarity with AI concepts, tools, and technologies;
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with a strong focus on delivering results;
  • Flexibility to work across different timezones; 
  • Being directly available to start working in the United Kingdom or the Netherlands;
  • Working proficiency of English.
