The Role
We’re currently recruiting an experienced Senior Software Engineer, who has worked on shipped multiplayer games and can get in a build networking from the ground up! The successful applicant will be required to work as part of our Games team to deliver on our client needs. This is a great opportunity to join DEPT® to not only get a taste of what we do but also to get exposure to the different technologies we work with.
You will be working with highly experienced and professional teams on cutting-edge technology creating Mixed Reality games. Working with the biggest names in technology, you will be a part of a team paving the way for MR content and game development!
About You
This role would be suited to someone who has been developing multiplayer games and tick most of the following:
- At least 5 years experience developing online multiplayer games, ideally shipping titles
- Knowledge of low level network synchronization code
- Experienced with Unity
- Proficient using C# & Typescript
- Have been involved with tooling and/or optimisation of game Engines
- Strong technical skills including an understanding of software development principles
- Can work comfortably with processes like code reviews, pull requests, prototyping, architectural design, sprint planning, testing etc.
- Above all, you’re a good person who likes working with other good people in a friendly team
