For our Data Analytics team we are looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer. Someone who can think along with our clients on a strategic level about the best data set ups, how to implement these and educate the clients in the world of Analytics.

At Dept we make platforms and campaigns for our clients. These not only have to look good, but also have to perform. As an Analytics Engineer you are the absolute expert in data collection and solving complex analytics cases. You know how to create and implement measurement setups, take care of server-to-server connections between owned and marketing platforms and know how to guide clients to achieve a higher level of data and digital maturity. You're the first point of contact for team members and have a pro-active role in innovating our products and services. 

Of course this role has it's challenges. The death of the cookie is near, and in this role you will consult our clients to deal with this new reality. How do they need to set up their server side measurement? Which Google Beta products should we test? How can we make the best us of consent mode, conversion uploads and more.And GA4. The end of the session, which is changing analytics like we know it. You like to dive into these questions and want to help our clients answering them.

Depending on your ambitions you will also have the opportunity to further your career into roles like Data Strategist, Team Lead, Data Engineer or Data Scientist.

  • Have at least 4 years of experience in a data role, preferably at agency side;
  • Have in-depth experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager;
  • Are more than proficient in Javascript;
  • Maybe don't have the technical skills yet, but are eager to learn more about SQL, Python and Cloud;
  • Have an excellent command of English, spoken and written;
  • Can switch from serious to play in a heartbeat;
  • Are analytical, technical, independent and have good communication skills;
