We are excited to hire a Community Programs and Events Coordinator! The Community Programs & Events Coordinator will support the efforts of the Denver Broncos Foundation and the Community Impact department including, but not limited to, programming, fundraising, events, appearances, and administrative duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists Community Impact with all departmental responsibilities by supporting coordination of Denver Broncos Foundation and Community Impact programming and events by:
    • Oversee planning, coordination, implementation and execution of programming and events including, but not limited to: Fight Like A Bronco platform, PLAY 60 year-round initiatives, Training Camp, staff volunteer service opportunities and more
    • Other duties as assigned
  • Assists the Denver Broncos Foundation with fundraising efforts (financial and in-kind), including but not limited to:
    • Special Events (Kickoff Luncheon)
    • Colorado Specialty License Plates
    • Ticket Turnover Donation Program
  • Manages Community Impact communications and content by:
    • Managing @BroncosOffField secondary social media account (Instagram) and generating content for all accounts throughout the year.
    • Capturing and cataloging photos at community events and appearances as needed.
    • Creating promotion plans for department initiatives
  • Manages Community Impact department administrative duties, including but not limited to:
    • Event and department giveaways and storage inventory
    • Budget oversight and reporting
    • Vendor management

Minimum Requirements:

  • Cover letter, resume and references
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 months - 3 years part- or full-time experience working for a nonprofit, collegiate or professional sports organization, or related organization
  • Ability to work all home Broncos games, nights/weekends and keep a flexible schedule

Preferred Skills & Ability:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with strong writing skills
  • Non-profit, fundraising and/or community service experience
  • Sports industry and/or team experience (Pro, College, full-time, part-time)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of personnel including players, staff, and the community
  • Excellent time-management, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail and capacity to thrive in pressure situations
  • Self-starter who can work independently when given a task and have the focus to follow through & follow-up if problems arise

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary for this role is $45,000 - $50,000 and will be eligible for overtime. This position will be required to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays outside of a normal working hours as needed. 

This position will be located at Broncos Park Powered by CommonSpirit in Englewood, CO.
