We are excited to hire a UX/UI Designer! This role will be responsible for coordinating, creating, planning, and optimizing digital experiences within the Broncos mobile app, denverbroncos.com, and empowerfieldatmilehigh.com. The position will also collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, sponsorship, ticket sales, game entertainment, premium seating, and stadium events. The ideal candidate is an experienced creative problem solver and self-starter who is knowledgeable in designing seamless user experiences across digital platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of Broncos mobile app, including ongoing collaboration with third-party developers by:
    • Creating, updating and optimizing digital experiences from concept to completion
    • Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups
    • Researching best practices, emerging technology opportunities, customers, competitors, and products
    • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative solutions
    • Leveraging analytics to amplify traffic engagement, enhance the user experience, and discover monetization opportunities
    • Presenting ideas to stakeholders to demonstrate how the product meets the user’s needs
    • Co-leading research efforts by developing personas, surveys, journey maps, and conducting usability testing
    • Concepting innovative revenue-generating opportunities
  • Assist with day-to-day maintenance of all Broncos digital platforms by:
    • Creating, updating and optimizing webpages
    • Assisting with generating and developing digital strategies
    • Designing for accessibility standards that ensure ADA/CCPA compliance across digital platforms.
    • Contributing to design system development, including component design and style libraries within Figma and Adobe CC
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Designing assets including but not limited to: ROS banner ads, splash screens, digital wallpapers, menu cards, and other digital graphics
    • Ensuring client's brand guidelines are applied to all sponsored inventory while upholding the Broncos visual identity and brand guidelines
    • Participate in regular design critiques and brainstorming sessions
    • Schedule, coordinate and send push notifications
    • Assist with tracking and logging performance metrics
    • Other duties as assigned by Manager of UX & Digital Design or Creative Director

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of professional experience with UI and UX design principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Operational experience using Figma (or a similar prototyping tool)
  • Experience with web design and building within a Content Management System
  • Experience using Photoshop and Illustrator Adobe programs

Preferred Skills & Ability:

  • Ability to conceptualize and create digital experiences and designs with minimal direction
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • Experience designing for both Android and iOS systems
  • Experience writing code using HTML and CSS is a plus
  • UX copywriting experience is a plus

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 and will be eligible for overtime. This position may be required to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays outside of a normal working hours as needed. 

This position will be located at both Broncos Park Powered by CommonSpirit in Englewood, CO and Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, CO.
