We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our human resources team with key administrative tasks. This role will provide valuable hands-on experience in various HR operations, including document management, compliance processes, and employee support. The intern will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of employee records and external reporting.
Responsibilities:
New Hire Documentation: Review, organize, and file college transcripts and other academic records to ensure compliance with onboarding requirements.
Loan Forgiveness Processing: Assist employees by completing and submitting Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) and other loan forgiveness forms in a timely and accurate manner.
Employment Verification: Manage employment verification requests by gathering required data, completing forms, and liaising with external agencies as needed.
Data Entry & Record Keeping: Update employee records and maintain organized digital and physical files.
Compliance Support: Ensure that all HR-related documents meet company standards and legal requirements.
General HR Assistance: Provide additional support to the HR team on ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort with digital record-keeping systems.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
