A graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program (required), with 2 years of urban teaching experience and state certification (preferred). *Please note that we request transcripts as a part of our onboarding process.*
Bilingual in Spanish or French (preferred).
What You’ll Do
Create an inclusive classroom and school community by engaging in training, reflection, and dialogue around issues of race, identity, diversity, equity, and inclusion for our staff and scholars.
Plan and prepare for effective implementation of a coherent, research-based curriculum to support ELLs in their acquisition of both content and language.
Create, monitor, and sustain a disciplined school culture of high academic and behavioral standards.
Implement a coherent, research-based curriculum.
Develop and use a variety of assessment data to refine curricula and instructional practice.
Communicate effectively and maintain strong relationships with scholars, families, and colleagues.
Continuously improve your professional practice through weekly coaching sessions, professional development, and data-driven reflection.
Compensation
The salaryrange for this role is $63,480 to $135,090. Our salary schedule is commensurate with years of lead teaching experience and your certification status. Our teaching salaries start at $63,480 for a first-year uncertified teacher and $69,000 for a first-year certified teacher and cap at $135,090 for a certified teacher with 29+ years of lead teaching experience.
