The mission of our schools is to educate responsible citizen scholars for success in a college of their choice and a life of active citizenship. Core to achieving this mission is the aspect of parent choice. Our Enrollment Manager executes the student recruitment tactics and community outreach work needed to fill seats for the twelve schools in the Democracy Prep Public Schools network. With a strong understanding of the communities where Democracy Prep operates, the Enrollment Manager implements efforts to find families to apply to, and register in, our schools.

What You’ll Do: 

  • In collaboration with the Director of Enrollment, coordinate enrollment efforts, including but not limited to day-to-day enrollment processes, enrollment campaigns, and enrollment events.
  • Manage, train, and coach our central office enrollment and canvassing team, while also participating in our canvassing efforts. 
  • Assist in preparing for enrollment strategy meetings in each of our Democracy Prep regions.
  • Provide suggestions around needed professional development for school-based operations teams in accordance with the enrollment cycle.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for school-based operations teammates as they execute enrollment efforts for their campuses.
  • Support with enrollment events such as school fairs and Open House events.
  • Manage our application portal and SchoolMint, and evaluate enrollment systems to ensure ease of use from all stakeholders; build recommendations for improvement in processes to the Director of Enrollment where necessary.
  • Complete other enrollment and marketed related tasks as designated by the Senior Director of Enrollment and Family Engagement and the Director of Enrollment.

Ideal candidate:

  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in enrollment management or related field
  • Proven track record of successfully leading enrollment strategies and achieving targets
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing enrollment teams
  • Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive enrollment strategies aligned with organization’s goals
  • Experience in analyzing enrollment trends and leveraging data for strategic decision making
  • In depth knowledge of admissions processes and best practices
  • Experience in designing and executing effective student enrollment campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

Salary is $70,000 - $80,000 and commensurate with your experience. Democracy Prep employees are provided with a benefits package that includes medical, vision, and dental insurance, 403B matching, parental leave, a smartphone, and a laptop.
